Hummdrum was founded by Michelle Quinn after more than a decade developing products for leading Australian lifestyle brands and cultural institutions.

During her time at Milligram, Michelle established and led the design direction of the company's key brands, creating hundreds of products across stationery, home fragrance, ceramics, glassware, packaging and gifting. That experience now informs every Hummdrum project, combining commercial thinking with a deep understanding of manufacturing, product development and storytelling.

Hummdrum brings together a trusted network of designers, manufacturers and specialist collaborators. This flexible approach allows each project to be matched with the right expertise, whether developing locally made collections, sourcing emerging materials or producing large-scale bespoke products.

The result is thoughtfully designed collections that strengthen relationships, elevate brands and become objects people genuinely use, love and keep.
